I recently listened to another great episode of Aviv Frenkel’s podcast, in which he interviewed Yuval Regev (CTO and Co-Founder of BeeHero). Their conversation sparked a perspective for me on how AI might shape industries—and our jobs.
BeeHero’s Pollination Insight Platform
Named one of the Best Inventions of 2024 by Time, BeeHero integrates sensors and data analytics to manage beehives more effectively. By monitoring temperature, humidity, and other key metrics in real time, BeeHero empowers beekeepers to reduce manual labor while boosting hive health and crop yields. This blend of physical hardware and software is exactly what makes me believe there’s a bright future for companies that combine AI with real-world problem-solving.

Diverging Visions of AI
On one side, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella emphasizes AI as a tool that should yield tangible economic growth and enrich human workers, not replace them. On the other, Suumit Shah of Dukaan took a more radical route by replacing 90% of his workforce with AI-powered chatbots, claiming major efficiency gains—even if critics worry about the human element of customer service being lost.
A Personal Conclusion
With coding becoming quicker and cheaper, it’s the fusion of tech with physical devices—like drones or sensors—that will open up the biggest opportunities. After hearing BeeHero’s story, I’m reminded that the best ideas address genuine, tangible problems. In a world where AI often sparks worries about mass job losses, BeeHero proves that technology can also spur growth and sustainability. Sure, some roles will disappear—but new opportunities will arise for those willing to build solutions that seamlessly bridge the digital and physical worlds. For me, that’s a future worth embracing.
